Khujand State University, named after academician B. Gafurov, with the support of State Executive Branch of Sughd Regional Administration is organizing international scientific symposium on "Renewable Energy Sources: Problems and Perspectives", May 24-26, 2011. The event is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Tajikistan's Independence.
The objectives of symposium are: to study capacities of development and use of renewable energy; to exchange positive experience and to seek incentives for stimulation of renewable energy projects and improvement of investment climate for attraction of local and foreign investors and donors.
We are inviting regional and international scientists and specialists in the sphere of renewable energy and entrepreneurs, who are engaged in practical use of renewable energy.
The symposium will consist of the following sessions:
1. Scientific research and new products in the field of renewable energy.
2. Introduction and technical application of renewable energy products.
3. Innovative technologies: current state of affairs.
4. Socio-economic aspects of the use of renewable energy.
5. Scientific-technical progress and problems of environmental protection.
6. Poster papers.
Languages of symposium are English, Russian and Tajik.

We accept documents in DOC format, A4 paper size, with Times New Roman, Times New Roman Tajik fonts, 14pt, top and bottom margins of 2.5cm, left margin of 1.5cm and right margin of 3cm.
